Wyke Farms Brings 100 year-old Family Cheddar Recipe to U.S.
Britain's largest independant farmhouse cheese producer launches
award-winning cheddar is U.S. food and dairy market
April 22, 2008 - Somorset, England - Wyke Farms, the UK's largest independant cheese producer and milk processor, today announced the arrival of the company's award-winning farmhouse cheddar and butter in the United States. A traditional family farm set on a rolling 1,500 acres in Somorset, England, the Clothier family has been producing farmhouse cheese and butter from the same family recipe for more than 100 years.
Wyke Farms will introduce a full range of cheese and dairy products in the U.S. including a variety of vintage and mature cheddar - just Delicious Extra Mature Cheddar, Rick & Creamy Mature Cheddar, Simply Gorgeous Vintage Cheddar, So Mellow Mild Cheddar, TNT Aged Cheddar and Village Oak Vintage 18 Month-Old Cheddar - as well as the company's half fat cheddar, Leskol - featuring only 1.3% saturated fat - and Wyke's Truly Scrumptious Farmhouse Butter.
